How do I get a New Hampshire marriage license?” You can go to any New Hampshire town or city clerk’s office to apply. Call ahead for their hours of operation and required documents.

“Can you marry me at my home?” Yes. I’d love to!

“Can you marry me at my favorite park, beach, or mountain top?” Yes!

“Can I book you for my favorite venue?” Yes. I officiate all types of weddings and am familiar with most NH venues.

“Can I elope to New Hampshire?” Yes! Eloping in New Hampshire is easy! New Hampshire does not require witnesses or have a waiting periods after applying for a marriage license.

“Lisa, can you marry me outside of New Hampshire?” Yes. I officiate in NH, ME, MA, and Southwest FL.

“What is a Justice of the Peace?” New Hampshire Justices of the Peace are nominated and appointed by the Governor and Executive Council of New Hampshire. I know how to write and organize your ceremony, where to stand at key points for pictures, and how to create a nice flow for all of the elements of your wedding. By getting to know you, I suggest elements that make your wedding unique and special. Most importantly, I am a calm and friendly face at the end of the aisle who adapts easily no matter what happens to make everything as seamless as possible.

“Are rehearsals necessary?” I do recommend rehearsals for large, formal weddings and for more complicated services. Rehearsals are also helpful to reduce wedding day nerves.

“How do I secure you for my ceremony date?” The first step is to contact me. Together we will discuss your goals for your wedding. Based on that conversation, I will write up a contract. You will then sign the contract and return it to me with a 50% deposit. Once I receive those, your date is booked with me. You will pay the remaining balance two weeks before the ceremony.
